A large & impressive late 19th century oak estate work (scullery) table, circa 1890s. Striking and well proportioned, the table displays extremely well. The heavy gauge and softly curved oak plank top sits above three frieze drawers with each drawer retaining their original bronzed pull cup handles. The strong framework structure displays chamfered block legs, all united by an H-stretcher.
A unique and consistent fusion of dings marks or scars to the oak top and structure have produced an enviable patination that can only be achieved through work & time.
