A handsome 19th century counter top glass shop display, advertising cabinet, circa 1890. Primarily intended for the purpose & point of sale of cigarettes, chocolate, toys, playing cards etc.
Constructed of mahogany & oak & glazed to all four sides.
Rear opening door with original brass catch that opens and shuts snugly and deliberately.
Original antique (wavy) glass. Possibly later glass shelving.
Heavy duty, original and adjustable brass fittings/brackets..
Three shelf display (four including base).
