Antique Advertising Table Top Point Of Sale Bijouterie Glass Display Cabinet

Antique Advertising Table Top Point Of Sale Bijouterie Glass Display Cabinet
A lovely, early 20th century, teak table top, bijouterie or confectioners point of sale glass display cabinet, circa 1910.
The cabinet with neatly flared framework to top and bottom is glazed to all four sides, with the front (or back) having twin sliding doors that glide and fit snugly into place. The interior has two glass shelves which sit on neat brass supports at all four corners. The shelves are portable or removable. The bottom displays its wonderful & original milk glass to further enhance the objects inside. This has an age old hairline fracture that’s fully stable. The milk glass is fixed, not removable. We have also pictured with a cork sheet to bottom for a softer, cushioned look if preferred.
Most probably an original Roundtree’s or Fry’s chocolate display cabinet. Any questions, please get in touch.
Condition: Solid and fully functional. Wear commensurate with age. Lovely natural patination to timbers. Photos sum up nicely.
