A gorgeous 19th century Victorian, leather travel trunk with iron fittings & bindings, circa 1880. The trunk displays an enviable patination throughout and opens up to reveal its all original signature striped ticking (fabric). A great interiors piece or film/theatrical prop that exhibits so much character and charm. Given the craftsmanship and substantial build quality, i suspect this would have retailed in a top London fashion house of the time.

To keep the integrity and history of this superb piece, it will come to you, in its as found original condition with only a light nourishing wax polish, on our part, to further enhance its wonderfully rich, chestnut like colouring.
