A lovely example of an early to mid 20th century railway trolley or grain cart, crafted by the iconic ‘SLINGSBY’ firm of London & Bradford. Circa 1930s.

The exemplary craftsmanship displays a heavy gauge wrought iron framework supporting neat & softly curved oak planking. Raised on three small axles, the four cast wheels, with each proudly displaying the embellished (raised lettering) ‘Slingsby’ name. Each cast wheel, encased in solid rubber for noise reduction and ease of portability..

A gorgeous and characterful vintage cart or trolley, displaying an enviable patina throughout, in great strong order. The aesthetics here are matched by its versatility and function. Comes waxed and sealed to retain its natural beauty. The underside wheels & mechanism all cleaned and good to go!

The desirable size and construction lends itself very well to a number of interior or exterior settings and situations.

Condition: Strong, robust and fully functional. Wear commensurate with age and use. Dings, marks or scars associated with a vintage working piece. Photos sum up nicely. Overall superb order!
