£345.00

A quintessential 19th century, Victorian Windsor library armchair, constructed of beech & elm, circa 1890. This broad seated, lath back example was designed & crafted with comfort in mind for long periods of reading and rest…… Ergonomically shaped for lower back support. The chairs framework also displays flowing arms with crafted hand rests, classic ring turned splayed legs with ‘H’ stretcher and the beautifully formed, substantial elm seat with incised makers mark ‘F.W’ which alone is a lovely touch.

This striking and sturdy chair displays natural wear and an enviable patination throughout. Full of character and charm!

Condition: Solid, robust and fully functional. Wear commensurate with age & use. May/Will show signs of dings, marks or scars associated with a good working piece of furniture. Photos sum up nicely. Overall superb!
