Carved and signed to the underside ‘ Jack Grimble’
Jack Grimble was a furniture maker and master craftsman whose influences encompassed the arts & crafts movement, as well as medieval and primitive furniture design.
Grimble’s work has drawn comparisons with the revered Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson, and other craftsmen from the ‘Yorkshire Critters’ school. For this reason, his work is becoming ever more admired & collectable.
A lovely hand crafted & unique piece that is well suited to a range of interiors.
