A fine and alluring pair of 19th century Benham and Froud copper jelly moulds, circa 1885. Each bearing the celebrated orb and cross trademark and numbered 656 and 660 respectively. Both exhibit striking architectural form with deeply moulded fluting and castellated detail, whilst retaining an enviable rich, naturally aged copper patina. Beautiful decorative objects in their own right.
The close pattern numbers and stunning balanced patina suggest their life together have been since production.

Condition: In superb order with no signs of splits or repairs. Pleasing tiny dings. Photos sum up nicely.
